As an artist I am convinced that anything can become the material for an artwork. My artistic practice is often based on aesthetic experience. I explore the possibilities of materials. Working with textures and mixed media I create layers within which the real places become inhibited and transformed by viewer's experience.
My works in mexid media technique transcend the flatness of the canvas surface without loosing the quality of pictorial abstraction. I seek a balance between experimental form and material, between the obvious and the slightly misunderstood. My works look alien, yet familiar, they are utterly fragile and at the same time agressive. The process unfolding from observation sets a mediatative character to my work.
