Art is rarely a straight process, from point A to point B. This is something all artists face throughtout their practice. The flexible sculpture is a symbol of the design process and investigates if this can be at all structured.
My aim is to draw attention that there are multiple points at which artist make decisions, and the variety of paths when adopting ‘what if’ approach. The installation represents the complexity of decision making, showing how tangled it is, how non lenear is creative process. The bendable tubes made of flexible plastic made it possible to effortlessly create shapes in space.
This installation was produced as part of MakeTime RestArt residence and installed in IZMA gallery in Serbia, Novi Sad.
